Missions
Champion Christian Church organizes collection efforts, fundraisers, and food and toy drives throughout the year to benefit those in need. Prominent examples include special offerings for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Week of Compassion, and Pentecost, the Angel Giving Tree event at Christmastime, and the School Supply Drive in late summer.
Our members also participate in various community and charity events in not just Champion, but all throughout Trumbull and Mahoning County. This includes Easter Egg hunts for community youth, Trunk-or-Treat events, tree lighting ceremonies, and more. We feel our presence in community events allows us to best serve our neighbors in addition to our members.
Additionally, the church selects an organization each month to receive a donation. When the organization is selected, the congregation is asked to donate one or two items for the cause. This allows our church to actively participate in our community and its efforts to benefit those in need.
