Shepherding Ministry
The job of a shepherd is to tend to their sheep, offering guidance to their destination and making sure they are safe from outside dangers. As disciples, we are also shepherds in that we show our Christian love to our friends and members of the congregation.
Participation in this ministry is simple, but it embodies the most important characteristics of discipleship. We offer words of encouragement and celebration in times of triumph, words of comfort and support in times of sorrow, and check in periodically to aid those struggling in silence.
